American RC Steel Pipe

Introduction:
This documentation should give you some basic information on how to set up your system and get the right balance between Horsepower and RPM. With any engine / setup there will always be a non linear trade-off; and will be up to you to find the best setting for your individual vehicle, engine, setup, and preference.

Setup Recommendations (1” Offset Header):
Measurements from the center point of the exhaust flange (in a straight line),
to the highest peak of the belly, should range from 11 1/2“ - 11 7/8”.
Note: Shortening the pipe can gain a few extra RPM while a longer pipe can gain Horsepower. Be aware that a pipe too short or too long will result in loss of RPM and/or Horsepower.

Setup Recommendations (All Other Headers):
Measurements from the outer part of the exhaust flange (following the centerline of the header/pipe), to the highest peak of the belly, should range from 11 7/8” – 12 1/4”.
