The rudder assembly features a unique slotted blade to allow the rudder depth to be adjusted up or down. Run it deep for superb handling or run it shallow for the high speed runs. When the adjustment is made, it will not affect the linkage what so ever making an adjustment quick easy and painless. Most blades you have to cut length to find the sweet spot, now it can be adjusted without cutting. The vertical pick up hole in the blade is 1/8" ID for proper water flow.

The Zip drive system was designed with performance and durability in mind. The Shorty Zip drive is made for use with a collet style (welded) cable. Have you ever cut your cable a tad too short or want to try the prop farther back? With this set up the cartridge can be adjusted to obtain the hull to prop distance wanted. The trim adjustment is made with a custom made stainless turnbuckle and threads into stainless for extra strength. Using a wrench, adjusting the trim has never been easier or more precise.

This drive is offered two ways:
1. Stuffing tube stops in the mounting plate and stub shaft rides on two bushings in the cartridge. This allows you to pull the cartridge and cable to grease with the safety collar behind the cartridge.
2. The 5/16" stuffing tube slip fits through the cartridge and a brass sleeve bushing is used (not included).
