Stage 5 modified - Zenoah 290

The fully modified engine built for maximum performance and reliability, use with a 2" band pipe, rated at 6.5+hp.We have been building engines for over 5 years and have set several speed records with our engines. The modifications include: trued crank, intake and exhaust duration adjusted, compression raised, transfer ports directed, extensive piston mods, crank and bearings trued, flywheel balanced, precision seals installed, modified 257 Walbro, stainless bolts, NGK plug, magneto properly spaced, and topped with a custom cooling cap.

Note: This is a conversion engine as Zenoah does not make a 29cc Marine engine and has had the needed modifications to make it suitable for marine use (piston relieved and exhaust timing adjusted). All parts are genuine Zenoah.

Zenoah 29cc kit

This is the new water-cooled Zenoah 29cc top end kit. This kit includes all needed to convert your existing 260 or 231 into a 29cc.

Included: Champion Spark plug, cooling cap w/ fittings, insulator w/ gaskets, water-cooled 29cc jug with cap installed, piston, ring, wrist pin w bearing and clips (2), base gasket.

(Note: Kit is completely stock. Like all other water-cooled Zenoah's, I recommend turning the piston down to avoid heat and seizure. Let me know if you need this done at the time of the purchase and I will take care of it "No Charge".

This strut suits all 23 to 27cc set ups. The blade length is 100mm/ 3 15/16" and the distance between the transom and back of the strut is 50mm/2" This strut is setup for a 1/4" prop shaft

Zenoah 260/231 billet cap

This is a brand new billet water jacket for the Zenoah G230PUM and G260PUM engines. This water jacket eliminates the two bolts used to secure the stock water jacket to the cylinder and in place uses 4 bolts and spacers that go from the water jacket directly into the crank case.

Easy link system

Zenoah Easy Link Carb Adapters allow modelers to run a control rod straight through the firewall to the throttle arm of their Zenoah engine’s carb without having to use the complicated bell-crank linkage of the past. Zenoah’s Carb Adapters are available separately for modelers who already own a Zenoah engine. The new adapters will include all the necessary hardware and bolts, as well as clear installation instructions.

Modified 260 top end package

The fully modified top end kit is a very good deal for the bargain hunter. Kit comes with a full mod jug, piston, and topped with a custom cooling cap.

Mods include:

Cylinder - intake and exhaust durations adjusted, transfers modified to direct the flow, and compression increased with 95% of the work done on a machine for consistency.

Piston - CNC cut with a 21 gram final weight

Cooling cap - Custom etched and water fittings opened for increased cooling/water flow.

If you plan on repairing a modified engine or modify your own this is a must have to be able to set the squish to where it should be. (different mods will call for different squish heights but the normal range is .014 - .022 in a Zenoah SIKK)

You're ready; how about your batteries? With Expert's V300 Voltmeter, you'll know in seconds if it's safe to float or if it's time to recharge.

The Expert V-300 Voltmeter features an LED bar graph display. 10 LED's (3 green, 4 yellow, and 3 red) are displayed in a bar graph for easy viewing on the current state of charge of your receiver battery pack. Each LED's color corresponds to that of a stoplight: green for go, yellow for warning, and red for stop-do not fly before recharging. Switch selectable, you can test both 4-cell and 5-cell receiver packs under a 300 mA current load to simulate the typical operating current.

Using the V-300 is very simple: Move the slide switch to correspond to the appropriate voltage level of the pack being tested (4.8V 4-cell or 6V 5-cell) and plug the V-300's universal connector into the charge jack. In 10 seconds you have an accurate and stable reading, so at a glance you know if you can safely go boating.
